The Saltwater Tacklebox is simply the breakdown of some of the fishing techniques and gear that you see used in the show. Behind every fishing scene is an underlying story. First, Spanish Fly shows you the actual catch. Then the Tacklebox shows you in a 2-5 minute tips segment how the catch was done and what equipment was used.

Some times SWTBX deals with fishing, other times it applies itself to things that surround fishing... like anchoring a boat so that you anchor line will never interfere with big fish, or how to use marine electronics not only to get right on a spot, but to set up a drift with wind and tide that will get you right over your fishing hole every time.

The closest thing to relate it to is as if some fisherman opened his own private tacklebox and gave you a secret look inside. It is kind of a “behind the scenes” view of how it’s done. We hope you enjoy!
